Who'll Do Add to Slack

Privacy

Who'll Do is operated by Rodrigo Urubatan F. Jardim. This page explains what the Slack app and this website store, and why.

What we store

  • Your workspace installation: the Slack team ID and name, the bot user ID, the bot access token Slack issues, the granted permissions, the ID of the person who installed the app, and the channel chosen during installation.
  • Schedules: the channel ID, the task text you type, the days, time and time zone, and the Slack user ID and username of the person who created it.
  • Pick history: for every pick, the workspace, channel and member ID (or the name typed into a list), the task text, the time, and the outcome (pending, done, declined or ignored).
  • Accounts (only if you create one): your email address, a password hash (never the password), your plan and trial dates, the Slack identities you link, and the Stripe customer and invoice references for payments. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.

If you have an account we email you about it: password resets and billing notices always, and a setup tip and trial reminders unless you use the "Stop these emails" link in any of them. We record which of those emails went out so none is sent twice.

What we do not store

  • The content of your channels. The bot does not read channel messages.
  • Direct messages you send the bot. They are read only to reply with the command list, and are not saved.
  • Profiles of your members beyond their Slack user ID. Status and presence are checked at pick time and not kept.

Who processes data for us

  • Slack, to run the app inside your workspace.
  • Stripe, for payments.
  • Cloudflare, which carries traffic to our server and delivers emails.

The application and its database run on a server we operate.

How long we keep it

  • Uninstall deletes your workspace's data. When the app is removed from a workspace, or its bot token is revoked, we delete that workspace's installation, schedules, pick history, pending link tokens and account links.
  • We keep one record of a workspace that was using Who'll Do before plans existed (team ID and name only), so a reinstall keeps the free plan it was promised.
  • Accounts stay until you ask us to delete them; email [email protected] and we will delete your account, subscription record and linked identities. Payment records may be kept by Stripe as long as tax law requires.
  • Server logs are kept for 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
